DIABETES WORKSHOP
GREENFIELD — Clinica de Salud del Valle de Salinas’ PUEBLO project is hosting a free diabetes workshop that will be held in two sessions for the community of Greenfield. Dr. Abidan Alarcon and Community Health Advocate Florentina Sanchez will present the Triqui and Spanish workshop. The workshop will be held at the CSVS Greenfield Clinic on Aug. 5 and 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. Contact Sanchez 831-256-1289 to participate.
MUSEUM OPENS
BRADLEY — Nacitone Museum is open to the public on the first Saturday of every month, with the next opening set for Aug. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum, located at 68901 Jolon Road in Bradley, preserves and promotes the history of the San Antonio and Nacimiento watersheds. MEET AND GREET
GREENFIELD — A Neighborhood Park Meet and Greet, hosted by the Greenfield Recreation and Police departments, is set for Sunday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Vintage Park, 221 Pinot Ave., in Greenfield. Join city officials as they review when to make 911 or non-emergency phone calls for suspected illegal or suspicious activities in neighborhoods and parks. GREENFIELD — Greenfield Community Science Workshop will host a Bike Repair Workshop offering free tune-up and repair services on Friday, Aug. 4. The workshop will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at 45 El Camino Real in Greenfield. Donations of used bikes will also be accepted at the event.
