GREENFIELD β€” Greenfield High School Ag Leadership and Greenfield FFA students recently donated pet supplies to a South County Animal Rescue (SCAR) collection drive.

β€œIt is always so heartwarming to get community support for our cause, but it is even more special to have the support come from our youth,” SCAR said in a social media post March 2. β€œThank you, thank you, thank you!”

Founded in 2016, SCAR provides rescue and assistance for domestic animals in South Monterey County.

The volunteer-run organization has rescued more than 1,600 animals to date, and also helps its shelter partners by taking in animals when a foster is available.
