KING CITY — Walk-in Covid testing, vaccines and resources through the Monterey County and UC Berkeley Community Partnership will be available at a pop-up clinic on Friday, March 4, in King City. GREENFIELD — Community members can make their voices heard in deciding Greenfield’s election districts. The deadline to submit map proposals has been extended to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, and will be posted March 9. Paper map tools are available at City Hall, Greenfield Recreation Department at Patriot Park and at the Greenfield Community Science Workshop or online at ci.greenfield.ca.us/463/Greenfield-District-Voting.
START SMART
SOLEDAD — In an effort to prepare young drivers to drive responsibly, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) is offering new driver education classes for teens and their parents. “Start Smart,” presented by the CHP, addresses such topics as safe driving practices, the rules of the road and new driver’s license requirements. The next class is set for Thursday, March 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at F&M Auto Repair, 2370 Relleum Drive, Ste. E, in Soledad.
