To the Editor:

I would like to send a very big THANK YOU to everyone who donated coats for this year’s Coat Drive in Greenfield.

There were at least 75 to 80 new and gently used coats donated along with different types of clothing to help the homeless in our county.

Special thanks to Jose at the Science Center for his help in setting up the container for the coats and keeping an eye on the donations, and to the Salinas Valley Tribune for its story and KRKC for its radio announcement.

Also thank you to Wes White and his helpers for giving out the coats and clothing to the homeless.

Have a happy and healthy 2021!

Avelina Torres
Greenfield
