SOLEDAD — Pinnacles National Park has reopened its east and west entrances to vehicles for day-use visits. Limitations are in place, such as no overflow parking, with no parking permitted once the lots fill. The park is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The campground remains open only to those with existing reservations.
TALKING TRANSIT
MONTEREY COUNTY — Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) is conducting a survey of community members and leaders, a process that occurs every two years. This year, the survey will be conducted online via Sli.do at the link https://app.sli.do/event/i8hb1dnv. MST wants to gather information about how people feel about public transit services and the bus service itself.
PANTRY PRODUCTS
GONZALES — The City of Gonzales needs the community’s help to keep its Little Free Pantries full. Donations of non-perishable food items can be dropped off in the collection container near the front door of City Hall, 147 Fourth St. The items can also be placed directly in the pantries, located on the corners of Belden and Ninth streets and Belden and A streets in Gonzales. Suggested items include canned foods (tomato products, soups, beans and vegetables) and dry goods (pasta, rice, oatmeal and peanut butter).
