GONZALES — This Saturday Project Sentinel, a non-profit organization, is holding a Fair Housing Pop-up Clinic to assist individuals with housing problems, such as discrimination, mortgage foreclosure and delinquency and rental issues that include repairs, deposits, privacy, dispute resolution, home buyer education, post purchase education and reverse mortgages.
The Fair Housing Pop-up Clinic will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, and will be located at the Gonzales High School Library (GHS).
“I am excited to be bringing our services to the South Monterey County communities, making fair housing more accessible to folks in these areas,” said Alyssa Kroger, Fair Housing coordinator with Project Sentinel.
Project Sentinel will have their full staff set up at the GHS library. That day they will be prepared with intake forms and computers at the ready for any individual who stops by to request assistance.
Everything is free and confidential at the Pop-up Clinic. They will have Fair Housing coordinators and their Senior Fair Housing coordinators on board and able to assist in English, Spanish and Mandarin.
“We will also have our Monterey Country Resource List packets and literature available to all,” Kroger said. “We are also more than happy to simply answer people’s questions and even proceed to investigate or enforce a particular discrimination allegation, pending the individual’s specific situation.”
Anyone living in Monterey County is welcome to stop by and benefit from the services of Project Sentinel.
