MONTEREY COUNTY — Spring has most definitely sprung, and love is in the air. Find a lifetime of love during SPCA Monterey County’s Adoption Event this Friday through Sunday.

During the May 3-5 event, the community gets to pick the adoption fee for all pets 6 months and older.

“That’s right, every pet — from dogs and cats to rabbits, guinea pigs, doves, bearded dragons, red-eared sliders and more are waiting just for you,” according to SPCA.

SPCA Monterey County is located at 1002 Monterey-Salinas Highway, across from WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

SPCA adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter surgery, permanent microchip identification, vaccinations, SPCA ID tag, a health evaluation and more.

“We recommend arriving early — no holds will be available during the event,” SPCA stated.

Donations and gifts of pet food are also appreciated.

For more information, call the SPCA at 831-373-2631 or go to Facebook.com/SPCAmc. Visit SPCAmc.org to view adoptable pets.
