SOLEDAD — Soledad High School track and field team hosted an awards presentation last Thursday at Gene Martin Stadium to honor the Aztec players.

Track and field head coach Jeremy Hoeflinger and assistant coaches Eliazar Rubio and Louis Leon presented certificate awards to members of the Aztec boys and girls teams.

The Most Valuable Players for the boys and girls teams, respectively, were Carlos Espinosa and Jocelyn Valdez. Receiving the Aztec Award were Gregory Carrillo and Kilene Rodriguez, and the Ironman and Ironmaiden Award winners were Marco Barrera and Kaylen Aguilar.

The Most Improved Award winners were Jacob Fletes and Aaliyah Gonzales, and Carlos Espinosa received the Captains Award.
