SOLEDAD — The fifth annual Front Street’s Spookfest & Trunk or Treat took place Halloween evening at Cesar Chavez Park in Soledad.

The family-friendly event featured a range of festive activities, including games, costume and dance contests, pumpkin painting and a spooky house.

Community members also decorated their cars and passed out candy as part of the Trunk or Treat.

“Thank you Front Street Soledad for another amazing Spookfest!” said Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez, who helped judge the dance competition with Soledad City Manager Megan Hunter and Police Sgt. Juan Santiago. “My little family had a blast being out with the community.”
