SOLEDAD — Soledad High School administrators and faculty said farewell to the Class of 2025 following the 25th commencement ceremony held on campus Saturday morning.

Hundreds of family members, friends and classmates packed Gene Martin Stadium to watch a total of 366 Aztec graduates, including 11 juniors, walk across the stage to receive their diplomas from Principal Jeffery James and members of the Soledad Unified School District.

This year’s top scholars were Isaias Alfaro, Evan Carrillo, Ava Ceja, Anthony Diaz Carrillo, Joshua Dizon, Ditza Dominguez, Melissa Duenez Ramirez, Eleanor Sanchez, Fabian Sanchez and Sophia Trujillo.

Fabian Sanchez was also recognized as the school’s valedictorian and gave a speech, while Eleanor Sanchez was chosen to give the salutatory address.

Pinnacles High Valedictorian Diana Gonzalez and Soledad ASB President Alyssa Perez also addressed the public during the June 14 graduation ceremony.
