SOLEDAD — Engineer Ryan Holguin recently accepted the promotion to fire captain at the Soledad Fire Department’s station #37.
Holguin will serve a significant role not only for the fire department, but also the city of Soledad.
As fire captain, he will oversee the business inspection program, weed abatement program and fire prevention program, along with other various roles at the fire station, including training and on-boarding probationary firefighters.
“Fire Captain Holguin will fill a much-needed addition to our team while helping the fire department push towards the future,” said Soledad Fire Department on social media Aug. 1. “Congratulations Fire Captain Holguin.”
