FLU CLINICS

SALINAS VALLEY — Mee Memorial Healthcare System will host flu clinics in King City and Greenfield over the next month. A free drive-through flu shot clinic will take place Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mee Memorial Hospital in King City, and another is planned for Oct. 29 in Greenfield, with time and location to be determined. In addition, vaccinations are available by appointment from 2 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 16 and 30, as well as Nov. 13. For information, call 831-385-7100.


COMMUNITY WELLNESS

GREENFIELD — Wellness Wednesdays launched on Oct. 7 through Greenfield Union School District. The sessions take place each week from 3:30 to 4 p.m., with community members able to join via Zoom for GUSD wellness events. The lineup includes games, Zumba, dance, cooking classes, yoga, meditation and scavenger hunts. For information, call the human resources team at 831-674-2840.


CHAMBER NOMINATIONS

KING CITY — King City Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture is accepting nominations for the 2020 Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year and Friend of the Community awards. Nomination deadline is Oct. 30. Forms can be picked up at the chamber office, where they must be returned when completed, at 200 Broadway St., Suite 40.
