PARK HALLOWEEN

GREENFIELD — City of Greenfield will host a Trick-or-Treat in the Park and costume contest on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Patriot Park. Participants must observe rules requiring face masks and social distancing. There, they can pick up a treat bag in their Halloween costume. The costume contest can be entered by sending a picture to organizers, with a deadline of 4 p.m. on Halloween. For information, call 831-236-5993.


GIVING THANKS

KING CITY — In the spirit of Thanksgiving, community members can stop by Alex Gourley’s Edward Jones office, 422 Broadway St., in King City, between Nov. 2 and 24 to tell staff what they are thankful for to be entered for a chance to win dinner for two at King Kora Restaurant. The drawing will take place Monday, Nov. 30.


TACO BELL

GREENFIELD — The newest location for Taco Bell opened in Greenfield, with final inspection and grand opening having taken place on Oct. 26. The restaurant is located on Walnut Avenue, in what used to be an empty lot between Chase Bank and AutoZone.
