DANCE FUNDRAISER

KING CITY — Monterey County Dance Foundation is inviting the community to a virtual performance and fundraiser, “From Our Heart To Yours,” on Friday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. via the MCDF Facebook page. The event will include local dancers and performers as well as a silent auction, which is currently underway. A donation pledge phone line, 831-525-5707, will open Friday at noon and remain available until 9 p.m.


FLU VACCINES

SALINAS VALLEY — Mee Memorial Healthcare System is offering flu shots by appointment for varying fees at its community clinics. Vaccinations are available from 2 to 5 p.m. Fridays, Dec. 4 and 18, and Jan. 8, at the King City clinic, 210 Canal St., and at the Albert and Donna Oliveira Clinic, 467 El Camino Real, in Greenfield. CHRISTMAS PARADE

SOLEDAD — Soledad’s 35th Annual Christmas Celebration will take place Saturday, Dec. 5, at 5 p.m., starting as a parade that travels from West Street through town and ending at the Soledad Police Department courtyard. Santa and his helpers will be present at the end point to hand out holiday treats.

GONZALES — Virtual visits with Santa will take place Fridays, Dec. 4 and 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitors must pre-register by calling the City of Gonzales at 831-675-5000.
