VACCINE CLINIC

SOLEDAD — VNA Community Services will be administering free Covid-19 and flu vaccinations at a pop-up clinic hosted by the Soledad McDonald’s, 1215 S. Front St., on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vaccinations are available for ages 2 and up. No appointments or insurance are needed, and all are welcome. A free Big Mac is being offered to anyone who receives a vaccination.


FAMILY FARM DAY

SALINAS — Agriculture and Land-Based Training Association (ALBA) will host a Family Farm Day on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On this day, the community is invited to visit its 100-acre training facility at 1700 Old Stage Road, south of Salinas. With impressive views of the local farmland and mountain ranges, guests will be able to purchase freshly harvested organic produce from family farms while also learning about sustainable agricultural practices and ALBA’s unique nonprofit organization. Other activities include tractor rides, face painting, pumpkin decoration and a bouncy house. Lunch will be available to purchase. MISSION GARDEN

JOLON — Mission San Antonio de Padua is hosting an Enchanting Afternoon in the Garden to celebrate its 251st anniversary with an annual wine-tasting event on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 3 to 6 p.m. Come enjoy good company, a delightful variety of local wines and appetizers amongst the beauty and serenity of the newly restored Mission garden. KING CITY — King City in Bloom will host a cleanup event on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Volunteers will meet at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds, 625 Division St., to pick up gloves and bags. Free coffee and snacks will be available.
