MONTEREY COUNTY — A public hearing to review draft maps for Monterey County Supervisorial district boundaries is set for Saturday, Nov. 20, at 10 a.m. Monterey County Board of Supervisors and Monterey County Advisory Redistricting Commission (ARC) will conduct the joint hearing to receive recommendations from ARC and to consider approval and adoption of the proposed draft maps to redraw supervisorial boundaries based on population growth. THANKSGIVING DINNERS
GREENFIELD — City of Greenfield will deliver senior thanksgiving dinners for free on Nov. 23. Anyone who knows a Greenfield senior resident, 55 years or older, who would like to receive a pozole kit for the holidays, email [email protected] or call 831-277-0145. The kit consists of a whole chicken and all the ingredients to make pozole.
BREAK CAMPS
SALINAS — All branches of the Central Coast YMCA will be hosting School Break Camps through the rest of 2021 and into the first month of 2022. The Y’s Break Camps are safe and nurturing environments where children will learn the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Led by trained YMCA staff, break camp will provide children with fun and inspiring activities that will help them build self-confidence, self-esteem and independence.
