BONUS BRIEF: LUGGAGE DONATIONS

MONTEREY COUNTY — May is Foster Care Awareness Month, and Monterey County Office of Education (MCOE) is accepting donations of new or gently used luggage to help serve foster youth in Monterey County. Foster youth often have to put their belongings in garbage bags when they change home placements, according to MCOE. Donations will help remove that stigma and allow foster youth to move locations with their belongings in a safe and secure fashion. To drop off luggage, contact Justin Parker at ju******@mo*********.org or 831-784-4227.
