JOB FAIRS

SALINAS — Monterey County Workforce Development Board has planned a series of in-person job fairs, online recruitments and workshops this month. On Wednesday, Jan. 10, an in-person recruitment event for Interim Inc. will take place at America’s Job Center, 344 Salinas St., Suites 205-206, in Salinas from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also on Jan. 10, an online healthcare virtual spotlight recruitment will be held on the Premier Virtual platform from 2 to 5 p.m. On Wednesday, Jan. 17, a Workforce Wednesday event will take place at America’s Job Center from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Attendees can participate in a resume workshop, interview preparation and mock interviews. Also on Jan. 17, an in-person job fair is set for El Gabilan Library (Community Room), 1400 North Main St., in Salinas from 2 to 5 p.m. To register, go to montereycountyworks.com and click on “Events.” More job fairs and recruitments are planned for later this month.


FLU SHOTS

CHUALAR — A free flu vaccine clinic is set for Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Chualar Fire Station, 24281 Washington St., in Chualar. No appointment is required. Vaccines will be available to individuals 6 months and older. Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.


CHAMBER MIXER

KING CITY — An Open House and Chamber Mixer will take place Wednesday, Jan. 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Edward Jones in King City. The EJ office, 422 Broadway St., is now open under the management of Carl Raggio, financial advisor.
