NEW CLASSROOM

KING CITY — South Monterey County Joint Union High School District is hosting a grand-opening ceremony for its new Adult Transition Program (ATP) classroom adjacent to King City High School on Friday, Feb. 3, at 11:30 a.m. ATP is for students ranging from 18 to 22 years old with disabilities. The new innovated building and bigger classroom is on Broadway Street, across from O’Reilly Auto Parts.


POP-UP SHOP

KING CITY — Presented by Muy Mi Gusto, a Pop-Up Shop featuring local small businesses is planned for Sunday, Feb. 5, inside the Orradre Building at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds, 625 Division St., in King City. The event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will include food, aguas frescas, sweets, pastries, succulents, boutiques, crafts and more.


OPEN MIC

GREENFIELD — Greenfield Recreation Department is hosting an Open Mic Art Night on Sunday, Feb. 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Greenfield Cultural Arts Center, 215 El Camino Real.
