DONKEY BASKETBALL

KING CITY — King City FFA is once again sponsoring the Donkey Basketball event, which takes place Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 6 p.m. at the King City High School gym. Teams include King City FFA officers vs. King City Young Farmers, King City Police Department vs. KCHS teachers, and KCHS vs. Greenfield High School. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance.


TRASHION SHOW

KING CITY — Alliance on Aging’s Trashion Show in King City, where fashion meets sustainability in the most creative way, will take place Thursday, Feb. 22, at 5:30 p.m. at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds. The annual fundraiser benefits seniors in Monterey County and brings together artists, environmentalists and community members to showcase innovative ways of repurposing and transforming discarded materials. HEALTH FAIR

SOLEDAD — Soledad Unified School District will host a Health and Wellness Fair on Friday, Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Family Resource Center, 441A Main St., in Soledad. This is a free collaboration of informative talks, health booths and resources, and is in partnership with Salinas Valley Health, Benefit Fitness, Blue Zones Project and more.
