EDUCATION COHORT

MONTEREY COUNTY — The 2024-25 Inside Education Monterey County Cohort will begin its next tour on Friday, Feb. 21. Guests who sign up to experience this unique hands-on experience will dive deep into the topic of Career Technical Education and Project-Based Learning in area schools. Inside Education Monterey County provides participants with a first-hand, interactive look at local educational programs, services and partnerships. Each half-day session focuses on a specific theme/curricular area and includes site visits. The program is free to participants, with two more tours remaining. CHAMBER MIXER

SOLEDAD — Soledad Chamber of Commerce will host its first Mixer of 2025 on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at CRU Winery, 37500 Foothill Road, in Soledad. Keynote speaker is Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez, with live music by Songbird Meadow. Wine and food will be available for purchase. Registration is required at soledadchamber.com.


JOB FAIR

SALINAS — Monterey County Office of Education’s Annual Job Fair is happening on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Student Center at Hartnell College in Salinas. Parking is free. The Job Fair is an opportunity for those who are seeking a career in K-12 education. Representatives from MCOE and Monterey County school districts will be ready to meet and interact with potential candidates.
