PET FOOD BANK
SOLEDAD — SPCA for Monterey County will host a pet food bank this Saturday at Soledad High School. The Feb. 13 event will have families line up in their cars to await free pet food for any type of pet, from 10 to 11 a.m. The SPCA gave out its 100,000th pound of pet food at a pet food bank in Castroville on Feb. 6. In addition to monthly pet food banks, which include South Monterey County, the SPCA also hosts a weekly pet food bank at its Highway 68 location every Wednesday and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.

MONTEREY COUNTY — Farmworkers and food processing workers who have Covid-19 or have been around someone with Covid-19 may be able to receive quarantine support for a stay in a free hotel room.
