SALINAS — Jobseekers throughout the area are invited to attend a multiple employer job fair on Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 2 to 5 p.m. at America’s Job Center, 344 Salinas St., in downtown Salinas. Participating employers are seeking individuals to fill local opportunities in healthcare, hospitality, agriculture, transportation, tourism and more. FROZEN AUDITIONS

KING CITY — Sol Treasures in King City will be hosting auditions for its upcoming musical, “Frozen Jr.”, on Wednesday, Aug. 17, and Thursday, Aug. 18. Youth ages 7 to high school seniors are welcome to audition from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 205 Canal St., in King City. BONUS BRIEF: FAIR VOLUNTEERS

MONTEREY COUNTY — Monterey County Fair is looking for volunteers for its 2022 Fair, set for Thursday through Monday, Sept. 1-5, at the Monterey County Fair and Event Center. Volunteer shifts are four hours, and volunteers can choose their areas of interest taken from the Volunteer Job Description List, if slots are available. An orientation is planned for Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 6 p.m. in the Seaside Room at the Event Center, 2004 Fairground Road, in Monterey. Receiving day is Sunday, Aug. 21, and the Fair will need help from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration forms are available online at montereycountyfair.com.
