CHIEF SURVEY

SOLEDAD — City of Soledad is conducting a community survey to help select the next chief of police. The survey is open now until April 4, and feedback is essential in guiding the City toward the right choice for the community. VA HEALTHCARE

KING CITY — Did you serve in the military? The VA Palo Alto Health Care System Medical Outreach Team will be at the King City VFW, 599 Bitterwater Road, on Thursday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. VA medical providers will be on-site to provide services for veterans enrolled in VA health care, including: examinations, consultations, referrals and toxic exposure screening. Wait times to see medical providers may vary. For those not enrolled or unsure about their eligibility, bring a copy of your DD214 and the team can provide assistance and answer questions.


CHAMBER AWARDS

KING CITY — King City Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture will present its Annual Awards Dinner on Saturday, April 5. The 2024 honorees are: Debby Norman for Citizen of the Year, King City Town Square for Business of the Year, Rodolfo Tapia for Friend of the Community, and Dalilah Trujillo with the Hermie Robles Youth Award. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds’ Orradre Building, 625 Division St., in King City.
