GONZALES — The grand opening of Ocean Breeze Multi Specialty Clinic took place last Friday afternoon in Gonzales.

The new clinic at 132 Alta St. will provide access to the underserved and agricultural populations.

“Building a compassionate and culturally competent clinic was a priority for CEO/Founder Flor Mora,” said Beatriz Morgan, vice president of operations. “Having healthcare professionals who understand and respect the cultural backgrounds and unique circumstances of the population served, will go a long way in fostering trust and improving patient outcomes. The goal is that the clinic can empower individuals to take charge of their health and prevent the onset of certain health conditions. Ms. Mora’s slogan and strong belief is that ‘Preventive Care Keeps Families Together.’”

Attending the Feb. 23 event and presenting certificates of recognition were Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez and Luis Mora, who attended on behalf of California State Assemblyman Robert Rivas and State Sen. Anna Caballero.
