GREENFIELD — Greenfield Community Science Workshop’s Omar Vigil and Jose Sanchez recently met with Pat Lewis, fleet maintenance superintendent at Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST), to receive a vehicle that MST donated to their organization and the Greenfield Recreation Department.

The vehicle will be instrumental for the City of Greenfield to continue providing hands-on science, recreation and senior programs to the community.

“Makes us so happy to share our well-loved vehicles with organizations in the community who can use them for their cause,” stated MST on social media May 3. “Although these vehicles may have reached their lifespan for pubic transportation, they still have plenty of life left in them.”
