MONTEREY COUNTY — Monterey County Workforce Development Board is partnering with the Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Monterey County Hospitality Association for a virtual job fair on Wednesday, April 20, on the Premier Virtual Online platform.

The event will feature employers in the hospitality industry and other sectors.

“Hospitality is the second largest industry in Monterey County and one of the destination’s top employers,” said Rob O’Keefe, president and CEO of the Monterey County CVB, adding, “Jobs easily turn into life-fulfilling careers in our industry, so clearly we want to support the Workforce Development Board in creating new opportunities.”

The job fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and jobseekers may log on anytime during that timeframe to participate. Registration is required via https://pvapi.premiervirtual.com/s/d0K5q8.

“Now is the time for Monterey County jobseekers — those unemployed or those looking to change careers — to connect with employers,” said MCWDB Executive Director Christopher Donnelly. “Hundreds of local employers are hiring right now, and it will be easier to find the job you want now before the job market become really competitive.”

He added, “And our Career Center is open to provide free employment and training services to jobseekers across Monterey County.”

Anyone needing registration assistance is asked to call 831-796-3335 or email Mo********************@Eq*******.com to learn more.
