SOLEDAD — Lavender Creek Co. and the Soledad Community Health Care District (SCHCD) have announced a partnership that introduces the soothing benefits of lavender to the residents and patients of Eden Valley Care Center, a 59-bed skilled nursing facility in Soledad.
Nestled on 70 acres along Carmel Valley Road in South Monterey County, Lavender Creek is a new family-owned business with a mission to infuse the naturally relaxing properties of lavender into the lives of its customers. Cultivating 2 acres of lavender, the company aims to offer soothing support to healthcare and hospitality businesses in Monterey County.
“We are excited to collaborate with Soledad Community Health Care District and contribute to the well-being of the residents at Eden Valley Care Center,” said Ryan Hopkins, co-founder of Lavender Creek Co. “Lavender Creek Co.’s mission aligns perfectly with the commitment to comfort and care upheld by the Soledad Community Health Care District.”
The Lavender Refreshment Towels from Lavender Creek Co. bring a new layer of comfort to the residents of Eden Valley Care Center, which is under SCHCD’s umbrella. Crafted with 100% cotton and pure lavender essential oil, the individually wrapped towels offer a moment of relaxation and promote a positive healthcare experience.
Residents can use the towels to refresh before meals, and after activities to unwind and soothe. The calming fragrance of lavender complements the serene surroundings of Eden Valley Care Center, adding to the experience for residents.
“We like supporting our local business, especially those that can benefit and support our services, residence and patients,” said Ida Lopez-Chan, CEO of SCHCD.
