SOLEDAD — Community organizer Lupita Murillo and the City of Soledad, in collaboration with Blue Zones Project Monterey County, brought neighbors in the Greenleaf Estates together to clean up their surroundings on June 5.

They were able to gather more than 475 gallons of green waste and collected tires and trash.

The residents also had an opportunity to voice other concerns, and the collaboration plans to continue working together to help those in Greenleaf Estates, between Rubion Drive and Metz Road in Soledad.
