GREENFIELD — Greenfield police officers conducted two separate probation checks at local residences on March 18 at about 6 a.m.

According to Greenfield Police Chief Greg Allen, officers recovered over two ounces of methamphetamine packaged for sale, a large amount of U.S. currency and drug paraphernalia at the residences located in the 300 block of Ventana Avenue and the 200 block of San Simeon Court.

A male adult, who currently is on probation for felony drug possession and sales of narcotics, was arrested for multiple drug sales and possession charges. His name was not released.

“No additional information is being released at this time,” police said in a news release.
