GREENFIELD — In late May, patrol officers from the Greenfield Police Department responded to a local elementary school regarding a report of sexual assault of a minor by an adult.
An 8-year-old girl reported being sexually abused by an adult known to her, police said. During the investigation, local detectives identified a second juvenile victim.
On June 13, detectives located Julio Santiago Martinez Flores, 42, of Greenfield, and placed him under arrest for multiple child molestation related charges. He is currently being held at Monterey County Jail.
