GREENFIELD — Greenfield Police Department conducted a search warrant and probation check operation last week on two separate locations in the 3900 block of Apple Avenue in Greenfield.

During the Feb. 17 search, officers recovered multiple firearms and high-capacity magazines. Police said all the items were recovered from documented gang members who reside in the Greenfield area.

“The operation was successfully accomplished with the assistance of members of the Salinas Police Department SWAT Team, the California Department of Corrections (CDCR), the Soledad Police Department, the King City Police Department and the Department of Homeland Security,” police said in a news release.
