GONZALES — Gonzales High School alumnus Dr. Ignacio (Nachi) Guzman recently provided free sports physicals for high school student-athletes, the cheer squads and football players from the Gonzales Knights youth football program at the Roger Fernando Gym.

“I thought we had an outstanding turnout for our sports physicals,” said Gonzales High Athletic Director Margie Daniels. “I was very pleased with how many of our students that will be doing sports this year came out for the free physicals that Dr. Guzman provided with the help of our Sports Medicine class.”

Guzman, who was an exceptional football and track athlete at Gonzales High, currently runs two medical facilities in the Fresno area. He has provided the free physicals at his alma mater for the past few sports seasons.
