SALINAS VALLEY — Nearly 600 seniors from Gonzales and Soledad high schools celebrated their graduation last Saturday at their respective stadiums, where their family and friends cheered from the stands.

The June 11 commencement ceremonies featured speeches from select classmates, including GHS Valedictorian Alejandro Ramirez and Salutatorian Cynthia Ruiz and SHS Valedictorian Kyanna Medina and Salutatorian Hamza Bassal.

In total, the Class of 2022 included 195 seniors from Gonzales and 384 seniors from Soledad.
