SOLEDAD — El Pájaro Community Development Corporation (CDC) has announced the return of its in-person services to the city of Soledad and the surrounding South Monterey County communities.
Beginning June 19, El Pájaro CDC will offer weekly in-person opportunities for local businesses and entrepreneurs to connect with its dedicated staff, learn about its programs and services and receive business support.
Every Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., El Pájaro CDC staff will be available at the Soledad Gateway Center, 502 Front St., in Soledad. These weekly sessions will provide personalized guidance, technical assistance and opportunities to learn about El Pájaro CDC’s full range of programs, including:
- Business advising and technical assistance;
- Bilingual training workshops for emerging and established businesses;
- Specialized assistance and training for childcare, food and agricultural businesses; and
- Access to business financing.
Appointments are required by calling 831-722-1224. Virtual appointments will remain available throughout the month.

A soft-opening celebration is planned for this Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Soledad location with light refreshments.
