SOLEDAD — CRU Winery in Soledad is partnering with Valley Farm Management and the Blue Zones Project Monterey County to offer a late summer hiking series.

Hosted monthly, participants will hike through the stunning and sustainably farmed Paraiso Vineyard before ending with a wine tasting at the CRU Winery tasting room.

During the hike, participants will learn more about Blue Zones Project Monterey County and the Paraiso Vineyard, which is nestled on the eastern-facing hillside of the Santa Lucia Mountain range to the south of Monterey.

Each hike lasts approximately one hour and is open to all levels of fitness and ages. Comfortable clothes, walking shoes and water are recommended.

The hikes are complimentary and can be booked through the CRU Winery website cruwinery.com. Tastings at the CRU Winery tasting room are 2 for 1 for hike participants.

The hikes are offered the second Sunday of each month and start and end at the CRU Winery tasting room in Soledad, 37500 Foothill Road: Aug. 13, Sept. 10 and Oct. 8, all beginning at 10 a.m.
