Hundreds of families got into the holiday spirit last weekend at several community events in Gonzales and Soledad.

On Saturday, La Gloria Elementary School in Gonzales hosted its annual Holiday Bazaar fundraiser with handmade crafts by local artisans, special performances and more, and the City of Gonzales presented the annual Holiday Lights celebration that evening on Fourth Street.

Soledad-Mission Chamber of Commerce also held its 37th Annual Christmas Celebration on Saturday, spreading holiday cheer on Front Street with entertainment and a parade.

Then, on Sunday, the Soledad Mission gift shop opened its doors to host a Christmas Open House for some holiday shopping.
