New Mann Packing building still in progress

GONZALES — The new Mann Packing building in Gonzales is nearing its completion as most of the building is up.

Work around the building, including its parking lot and processing plant, is still ongoing. The project is expected to be 130,000 square feet, including areas for raw-product warehouse.

The processing plant will take over 65 percent of the company’s manufacturing volume.
