GONZALES — The Monterey County 4-H community came together on Sept. 12 at the Swiss Rifle Club in Gonzales to celebrate the hard work and dedication of its youth members at the annual Monterey County 4-H Achievement Award Ceremony.
Hosted by the Gonzales 4-H Club, the event was a total success, drawing more than 100 attendees from various local clubs across the county.
The annual Achievement Awards ceremony serves as a cornerstone event for Monterey County 4-H, providing a platform to recognize members for their outstanding accomplishments over the past club year. Youth participants were honored for their leadership development, dedication to community service, and the extensive volunteer hours they contributed to better their communities and clubs.
“We are incredibly proud of all our members and the immense dedication they have shown this year,” said an event organizer from the host club. “Seeing more than 100 members, families and supporters come together to celebrate these youth leaders shows just how strong and supportive our Monterey County 4-H community truly is.”
The evening highlighted the core values of 4-H, emphasizing personal growth, civic responsibility and hands-on learning. Thanks to the hospitality of the Gonzales 4-H Club and the wonderful venue at the Swiss Rifle Club, the event successfully sent members into the new club year inspired to continue leading and serving.
