GREENFIELD — Firefighters from Greenfield Fire Department patrolled and extinguished hot spots off Topanga Canyon in Los Angeles County last week.
Earlier this month, three members of the Greenfield crew joined the XLK Task Force 2100 and were deployed to the Palisades Fire, which has devastated the region.
“We would like to send our deepest condolences with all those affected by the devastating fires down south,” stated the department. “This historic fire has been heartbreaking to witness. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and families impacted. We are grateful to be of aid.”
