SOLEDAD — Soledad Aztecs quarterback DJ Valenzuela threw three touchdown passes and was 13 of 14 on completions to lead the football team to a 48-0 win over Rancho San Juan.

Julio Camacho ran for three touchdowns and finished with 128 yards, and Gio Gallegos ran for two touchdowns and 133 yards.

“We had a confidence building win,” said Soledad head coach Marc Villanueva. “We felt we’ve seen improvement in our passing game heading into this week’s game against Pacific Grove.”

With the win, Soledad improved to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the Mission Division.
