YOUTH CONFERENCE

SOLEDAD — Youth of Monterey County will take the stage as experts of their own lived experiences during the Fourth Annual Youth Violence Prevention and Intervention Conference on Friday, April 1. The conference, sponsored by the Natividad Foundation and the City of Soledad, takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Soledad Community Center, 560 Walker Drive. CASINO NIGHT

KING CITY — Casino Night 2022, benefiting Rancho Cielo Youth Campus, is set for Friday, April 1, from 6 to 10 p.m. inside the Orradre Building at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds in King City. MARKET RETURNS

GREENFIELD — City of Greenfield’s Market at the Gazebo has returned, and will take place every Saturday through Oct. 30. The market, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., features produce, dried fruit and nuts, food, craft vendors and more at the Village Green Park, 98 S. El Camino Real, in Greenfield.


BONUS BRIEF: WATER SCHOLARSHIPS

CALIFORNIA — California Water Service Group is accepting applications for its ninth annual College Scholarship Program from students residing in areas served by its subsidiaries. The utility will distribute a total of $80,000 in scholarships this year based on academic achievement, community service and financial need. Eligible applicants must plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate study program at an accredited college, university or vocational-technical school for the upcoming academic year.
