To the Editor:
The evening of May 4, 2004, we found our son Ricky had been brutally murdered. He had been stabbed, shot and beaten.
We know on that day, the lives of everyone who loved Ricky were changed forever. When Ricky was killed, he had two young sons. Imagine what life was like growing up without their father. The killers didnāt care.
Iām sure the day of Rickyās funeral the murderers were celebrating in their evil, black hearts. We had to bury our son two days before Motherās Day. Try celebrating Motherās Day when your son has just been killed.
The only murderer arrested is being released from prison in June. The monster was convicted in 2005 and was supposed to get out in 2023. That monster will go on with his miserable life while my son cannot.
Ricky was lovable and had the most wonderful smile and beautiful eyes. We will always remember and love our son. We will never stop looking for justice. Help us, please!
There is a $50,000 reward from the Governorās office for the conviction of the rest of the murderers. Please contact the Greenfield Police Department at 831-674-5111 or 800-782-7463. All callers will remain anonymous.
