SOLEDAD — Final preparation continues at the Hartnell Community College campus in Soledad.

When finished this winter, the Soledad Education Center will include four classrooms, a faculty room and an adjacent student success center that will be home to tutoring services and space for group study.

The site will also feature rooftop solar panels expected to meet half of the building’s electricity needs. The south side will include an exterior walkway and courtyard.

The Soledad project is funded by Measure T bonds as part of improvements at the main Salinas campus and construction at the other education centers in King City and Castroville.
