GREENFIELD — Volunteers worked together last Saturday to load pet food into vehicle trunks during a contact-less drive-through Pet Food Bank hosted by SPCA for Monterey County.
The June 20 food bank was held at Patriot Park in Greenfield in order to help pet owners with caring for their animals during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Community members drove up and stated their number and type of pets, and staff from SPCA loaded the food into their vehicles, which were lined up out of the park and along Oak Avenue toward the west.
